Amazing mid mountain lodge at the bottom of Ruby lift. Tons of outdoor loungers for blue bird days. Full bar and awesome smoked meats. Get the brisket Mac. Holy brisket! Bathrooms are in an out building and gross. Do your #2 elsewhere.
This place is great for what you get. Instead of paying 20 bucks for a burger, I paid 20 bucks for a brisket sandwich and it was delicious! (Everything tastes better when you're skiing, but I was so happy I ordered this). Had a great lunch on the patio chairs outside in the sun. Sitting inside was a little crowded and felt cafeteria-like, but sitting outside was really fun.
Love this place! Music's always playing. Chili bowl has the best price in the resort. And beer always taste better in the mountains. I've been skiing Summit County since I was a kid and this has always been my favorite on mountain spot.

BBQ smothered tots really hit the spot! Well worth the wait, good luck finding a seat (but isn't that every mid-mountain lodge?). The vinegar sauce is my new obsession. Will be back for sure!
The brisket is SO GOOD. Nice surprise at a ski lodge. We had lunch here every day for a week, and the brisket was flawless each time
Boyfriend went here and it was fantastic food. He loves it. The tater tots were salty though! But fantastic food and expensive which is expected on a ski resort. Also, they weigh out the meat which makes it super fair and consistent.
This is the perfect place to grab a hearty lunch on the mountain! The platter is about 20 but has so much food that it’s perfect to split between 2 or even 3 people (depending on appetites)! They also have quite the selection of barbecue sauces to choose from.
